If you love marketing, retail, and the storytelling of a brand, 'The Kingdom of Prep' is perfect for you! As a longtime fan of J.Crew, I thoroughly enjoyed this history of the retailer. The narrator's voice is borderline monotone, to the point where it sometimes sounds AI-generated. So, I would suggest reading the book for a great story about the beloved prep brand.
