We Just Might Make it After All by Elyce Aarons

Star Rating: ★★★★★

Elyce Aarons, co-founder of Kate Spade New York, wrote the perfect memoir and tribute to a time gone by. The pages are filled with NYC 90s fabulousness, regaling two best friends making their way in the big city at the height of glitzy magazines and high fashion. It's impossible to explain how epic 90s NYC was, but Elyce gives a sublime taste of building an iconic brand in the height of it all. The stories are rich with personable experiences that recount office pranks, conflict resolution in the office with a best friend, and ultimately knowing when the tide has changed and it is time to leave. And, also, when it's time to pick it back up and start again with another dream with your best friend and what happens when the dream shifts.
